Hoss’s Market only sells USDA Prime Beef. Hand carved from whole primal cuts, in house by our butchers, daily.
The marbled appearance of a prime steak is important because only corn-fed well-aged cattle have the marbling necessary to be classified as USDA Prime.
Beef is inspected and graded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and then assigned a classification:
Select, Choice or Prime. PRIME, of course, is the BEST because it is the ultimate in tenderness, juiciness and flavor. The USDA’s standards are high, only 1%-2% of the beef produced each year qualifies as USDA PRIME BEEF.

Fresh Seafood Case
Our seafood is delivered fresh to the market 3 times a week. We offer a variety of distinctive fresh seafood unavailable elsewhere in Columbia. We would be happy to special order your favorite selection and offer suggestions on preparing this healthy and delicious dish. We have numerous specialty sauces on our retail shelves from Stonewall Kitchen, Private Harvest, Dr. Pete’s, and of course our own Hoss’s label that are paired perfectly with fresh seafood.
